| The Patterson-Kelley condensing hot water boiler is certified at 92% efficiency based upon the operating conditions specified for testing under ANSI Z21.13/CSA 4.9. The efficiency for a condensing boiler changes with three key factors: water flow rate, entering water temperature, and firing rate. The efficiencies shown here are based on a water flow rate corresponding to a 20° ∆T at high fire, and efficiencies are shown at three firing rates for the entering water temperature indicated. Note that under certain operating conditions the efficiency can be as high as 99%! |
